Publication Ethics

Sambas Pharmaceutical Journal is fully committed to the standards of ethical scientific publication in accordance with the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We reject all forms of plagiarism and unethical practices in publication. All parties involved in the publication process editors, authors, and reviewers are required to uphold scientific integrity and academic responsibility.

Publication and Authorship
All submitted manuscripts will undergo a rigorous review process by peer reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The review process employs a single-blind peer-review system. The aspects evaluated include relevance, novelty, scientific validity, clarity of language, and contribution to the field of knowledge. The final decision may be: accepted, accepted with revisions, or rejected. If authors are requested to revise, there is no guarantee that the revised version will be accepted. Manuscripts that are rejected will not be reconsidered. Publications are subject to laws related to defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. A single research outcome must not be published in more than one journal.

1. Responsibilities of Authors
Authors must ensure that the manuscript is original and has not been previously published. The manuscript must not be under consideration for publication in another journal. Authors are required to participate in the peer-review process. Each listed author must have made a significant contribution to the research. All data and information in the manuscript must be valid and accountable. Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest. Authors should include all sources of references used. Any errors discovered after publication must be promptly reported to the editor for correction or retraction.

2. Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers are required to maintain the confidentiality of the manuscripts they review. Evaluations must be conducted objectively, without personal attacks on the authors. Reviewers should provide clear opinions supported by scientific arguments. Reviewers must identify important references that have not been cited by the authors. Reviewers should report any substantial similarities between the manuscript and other works they are aware of. Reviewers must not review manuscripts if they have a conflict of interest with the authors or related institutions.

3. Responsibilities of Editors
Editors have full authority to accept or reject manuscripts. Editors are responsible for the quality and integrity of the content published. Editors must consider the needs of authors and readers while ensuring scientific quality. Editors are required to publish corrections or clarifications when necessary. Editorial decisions are based on the scientific merit, novelty, and relevance of the manuscript. Editors must not overturn previous editorial decisions without strong justification. Editors must ensure the confidentiality of reviewer identities. Editors must ensure that all published research complies with international research ethics guidelines. If ethical violations are indicated, editors must follow up seriously until a solution is found.
